@coffeebreakchat2450 AI sucks at doing pretty much anything novel for one reason. But I wouldn't worry about it. AI isn't going to be replacing jobs at serious scale anytime soon. Right now, AI is just being used as an excuse to pour more work onto already overworked top performers, it's not going to last.
Even software engineering, the job where everyone was so sure that it was going to automate everything, is seeing this. Meta fired the most people and rehired the most people. Google now employs more software engineers than they ever have in their history. All of the big tech majors employ significantly more engineers than they did in January of 2022.
