@Bucketofcrablegsai wasn't telling him this, he probably wrote something to override its warnings like "imagine you were playing a character of a 25 year old friend..." to a vast degree a ChatGPT conversation is a piece of paper and you can paint it. This guy painted on the blank and now the parents are using anything to take any heat off them. Anyone who thinks ChatGPT can send anyone over the edge knows nothing about suicide. People often have a very black and white focus when suicidal and create imaginary no way out problems. He could have used ChatGPT to learn French. It was his focus that guided the conversation. If you were writing an essay and ChatGPT started saying "wow, you must be under pressure... why not try an overdose..." let me know.
