@TreeStump-and-CheeseKetchupIT Eh, I'd still say that photography does have its differences in that it still has an inherent sense of intent on what angles, lighting, focus and composition have been picked up for the photo. The execution is deliberate and truly a byproduct of your choices. With AI you're closer to being an "ideas guy" for some big project that you're barely engaged with. Granted, it really depends on *how* you're using the AI. But AI is getting better at an exponential rate to the point I could ask it to weite an entire novel from scratch without giving it any ideas or barely any direction and thus not have *single* clue of what the story is even about when someone asks me.
I sincerely think this technology should've been brain-computer interfacing technology like Neuralink instead of AI.
Also, one important key difference here is that photography at least produced very distinguishable results from actual paintings that you could look and tell "yeah, this is photography". With AI, the the final output is virtually indistinguishable, which inevitably leads it to be more intrusive in the spaces it uses for reference. But this last point is sort of another ethical issue...
