@FirebirdPrince It is actually foreign in this case - because during previous disruptions, new industries emerged. This is less likely here - because when AI improves in one area - it's GENERALLY getting better in all areas (obviously with some caveats).
We might have time to do these things - but the government and the corporations that are building the AI are actively fighting against this. The reason we are doing nothing now - is by design.
