I genuinely don’t know why people still believe this as it’s just not true.
You can say it’s not art and they aren’t artist all you want but the reality is most employable art is about delivering a product and the content created by AI threatens Artists because it is capable of creating products.
As far as consumers, employers and those who pay artists are concerned it is capable of producing art, an extremely important distinction or else artists would never need to be exposed for AI art or shady practices.
Unless you are speaking on purely the traditional medium which greatly values expression and etc but that form of art is wholly irrelevant on this topic imo.
