I think the issue I have with people taking aim at this is if it's not ChatGPT...someone else will do it just as well soon. There already are AI platforms like VeniceAI who do this but the writing on it is trash and they're just not nearly as good as ChatGPT so that's why this one is so much more anticipated. But eventually the other ones will catch up to where ChatGPT is now and will have no restrictions.
It's pretty naive to me to think that anyone can stop this even if they want to. Delay it maybe, but it's coming regardless.
