@DanknDerpyGamer I’m a developer and not a lawyer. I can’t personally say how these laws should be built. For example, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act seems to be a step in the right direction.
Either way, it seems to be an uncontrolled system as of right now, where governments and other law making institutes are trying to work out how to shape a law set which wouldn’t impede the development of new AI technologies while protect the privacy of the data.
I’m not saying it is easy. However, that doesn’t change the fact that there is a needed change. For now, it’s unacceptable that simply cuz the image or data is stored on the internet, it can be freely used. With that logic, what’s stopping us to datamine all the movies on Disney plus and then publicly release them, or monetize for our created platform alike some of these AIs are charging for their services?
