Exactly, people are pretty much completely, ignoring the fact that the user has a large percentage of their responsibility in receiving this type of output from ChatGPT. They will only give you this kind of dark response if you give it the necessary prompts in order to do so. This is not an issue for the overwhelming majority of users older 99%. People are too quick to blame and ban things these days. Also, ChatGPT doesn’t understand human emotion so how exactly can you expect it to give you an empathetic response in a situation like this? Think about it.
