The money grabbing started when GPT was sued for someone asking "generate a theoretical sequel to X" now bear in mind that GPT has nowhere NEAR the context window and tokens to remotely one shot anymore than 1 page if that, There is where it gets ridiculous, Or the Getty lawsuit just because it didn't reproduce a Getty image, It simply generated a scene or portrait with something that "looked like" a Getty images splash on them. Also tell me the difference between googling "Mona Lisa" and getting a picture of it, or asking AI for "Mona Lisa" and it generates an uncanny valley obvious not anything like the original? What's closer to the "forgery" in your analogy?
