@stuartd9741 If you go strictly by numbers AI can fly a plane better than a human. In those rare occurrences like Cactus 1549 you want an experienced pilot who can improvise better than AI. Of course if humans rely on AI they never get the experience to make better improvisation - a paradox.
I too am a pilot. While I trust my skills are better than most pilots since I very focused when I fly (or drive) I know that AI will have less chances of failure when going by percentages. Ideally you would want Chuck Yeager flying your AI Airbus A380 with his hand hovering the sidestick 24/7 but that's not in the cards.
