@thewannabecritic7490 I would question that entire premise. Why does art need human ideas?
Especially given some of the "art" that is produced. Was the photo taken by a monkey art? Or just a random photo? What objectively makes it different from photos taken by people?
How is a prompt, asking for particular types of images, potentially with refining it, less of a human idea than someone taking a photo of something?
AI is no more stealing from art than a human looking at it and being inspired by it.
If it was stealing and should be prohibited on those grounds, that would apply to people as well.
Dismissing it as an object is not grounds to limit it.
You are just saying it should be limited because it should be limited.
