@osuf3581 Thanks again for the detailed response. I must say, towards the end concerning attention & layers, I don't understand all of what you have written yet but I will take your advice and start reading papers that go in that direction. Thank you also for that very helpful link, I already read through some of it this morning , seems very insightful! I'm now also better at comprehending what is going on behind the scenes when the hallucinations occur, although I do need to admit that I haven't wrapped my head around the whole thing yet fully, which seems to be a common theme as, just like you mentioned, nobody seems to fully understand these models yet. Your response has made aware again, how exhilarating but also scary the whole notion is that we are inventing something that is already superseding our learning ability and might even supersede our intelligence, which we don't even fully understand yet. I think people who are dismissing this technology and are certain that the human brain contains some sort of magic element which AI won't be able to mimik, they will be in for a rude awakening. As this was such an insightful interaction for me, I would be interested in connecting somehow, as you seem to be way more in the topic than I am.
