@awesome2259lol assumption 1: these parents didn’t know how depressed their kid was.
Assumption 2: they didn’t have conversations with their son about his depression
Assumption 3: he wasn’t offered or given support by anyone
Assumption 4: they could have better understood how suicidal he was if they had cared more
Assumption 5: they could have “stopped” their son from this
Assumption 6: they haven’t taken accountability for the part they may have played in their son’s death
You literally accuse them of blaming AI for “their failure,” but your accusation of failure is dependent upon all of these assumptions that are unfounded. In your mind, is every suicide the fault of a parent out there who didn’t care enough? Can we achieve 100% suicide prevention if all parents behave as you so knowledgeably endorse them to behave?
