where I'm at is consciousness or being sentient doesn't make you "human". would you say animals are sentient or have consciousness? I would. we might be able to make something that appears to us as conscious but that doesn't mean it actually is. us as humans are able to do things that are illogical or unreasonable simply because we want to. free will. I don't think robots will get to the point of free will or able to perceive things how it wants. the robot is purely calculation...
