Long ass paragraph but this just ignorance on the topic, AI steals images with scrapers and you act like it all enters the public domain, the public domain is not like that. Most of the art on the internet is not public domain. Also comparing stealing from just referencing is dumb, one takes skill, the other is just typing for a result. And yet again, just because it is easy to find that does not mean you can steal it, if you steal from a supermarket just because it is easy to find, is that good or not? And either way you are not understanding one important thing about art, the reason people love art is because of the things they learn, what are you learning when the result is just typing a descriptor of what you want? Also saying that crafting prompts is a skill is a stretch when it is just writing a single line. Get a comprehensive understanding on why people hate AI instead of just acting like it is just the same as art.
