@PollenNote How who is wrong? Art snobs who say shit like "you don't understand art"? That's easy. It is impossible not to understand art because there is nothing to understand or not understand. Art is entertainment. The purpose of art is to entertain. In the case of visual art like drawings, entertain = impress the viewers with aesthetics. If a drawing looks ugly to me, it is bad (subjectively to me) and I reserve the right to call it bad. Midjourney looks good. Picasso looks bad. Ergo, Picasso is bad and Midjourney is good. Any art snob hearing me say this will either have a heart attack and/or claim that I don't understand art, but there is no such thing as understanding art or not. There is only being entertained/impressed and not being entertained/impressed. The first time I subscribed to Midjourney, I stayed up all night generating images because I loved it. It was amazing. It's a marvelous program. I made so many pieces with it, and I could stare at others' creations for hours on end. I have been to a Picasso museum because the tourist group I was with really wanted to. I am not going there ever again. Midjourney is more entertaining and impressive, hence it is a better artist. The argument of "but you don't understand" will never be convincing to anyone to whom it is directed at, because it makes no sense from the perspective of the consumer.
