Are you saying that the created cannot be smarter than the crator? Well, that puts evolution in it's place then, humans should be getting dumber, not smarter. All human knowledge is built on the shoulders of those before us, we get smarted because the previouse generation paved the way. The other thing you are missing here is the fact that the level of knowledge in a single LLM vastly outstrips that of any human, giving the LLM an imediate advantage, speed of knowledge retrieval to do complex tasks, something that no human can ever hope to possibly achieve. Face it, AI as it stands now, today, is vastly more intelligent than any single human, and vastly supperior in other regards too, speed and accuracy.
Dont forget, that we all could be in a simulation, on a computer, sitting in a server rack, in a warehouse, on a planet that we have no idea about, and you cannot possibly say with 100% certainty that this is not the case.
