@TigreEthereal Bro, it's not the end of the world. Life goes on. Survival is about adapting to exist in a niche. There will always be niches where artists can survive. For examples, consumers of sacred and religious art-- probably will be looking for non-AI art. Art restoration-- machines probably won't be automating that in our lifetime. Or you can just become really good at using the new AI tools. This doesn't even impact me and I thought up those two examples up in under a minute. There are probably hundreds. Don't succumb to despair and inflexibility in the face of a challenge. When there's a disruption like this the people who think quick and adapt first win big. Modern art and the household names that go with it, like Picasso, exist because the new technology of photography disrupted art. Every crisis is an opportunity. The essence of art is creativity. Create a niche. Despair and grievance will embitter your spirit and kill your creativity, not new tech. It can't do that. Only your reaction to it can do that.
