@MarkBadman-b4m in those particular cases , either
1) they were edited so much that it counted as human authorship- any other gen imagry/output doesn't even have 1/12 of the human authorship.
Or
2.) The judge didn't fully understand the new technology. Plenty of authorship has been revoked when they've learned better, such as that Zendya copy comic that got its copyright removed.
And its been reiterated by the US copyright Court that all ai generated outputs are public domain unless get are edited or reworked by mostly human hands. So yeah, vast majority is still un-copyrigtable and has no ownership.
