If it makes you feel any better we're no where near close to developing sentient AI that can ignore it's own coding on it's own will without prompt. Most of this is just anthropomorphizing AI for monetary gain from clickbait. The ChatGPT and Bing AI responses can be done through prompt engineering by get the AI to response with specific outcome based on what you input for example
