Just be honest and say you don't want to actually put work into making anything
And yeah it is theft: because AI image generators can only operate by taking art that was already made by using search engines and frankensteining them into a nightmarish approximation of what the prompter asked for. It can not ever create anything by itself. An actual artist can create and conceptualize whenever and wherever they go, AI image generators by design cannot, and thus they can't ever replace the real thing
AI art is practically another form of tracing at that point and it's even more lazy than that and it comes off across as sociopathic to support and defend these practices by wanting to remove the human element
But if you think there's no theft, no legal or moral ramifications of using AI art to make a quick buck, then by all means use copyrighted material from say...Nintendo or Disney. See how far that gets you
