If someone is reliant on it, they def shouldn't be called an author. I once tried to experiment with it to see if it could help me grow in my writing skills by telling it to improve a small paragraph for me. It improved 1 or 2 lines a bit but the rest was unnecessary. And in the end I realised I could've learnt the same thing by reading a good book or watching an author's youtube channel. Which would've been more fun too. So yeah even in improvement and learning there are human-made resources that will always be better than AI. A fully AI generated book would literally be a scam.
