@iwanwesterduin No, if a computer program does not have free will, then it can't be considered sentient. you can't move the goal post and say "nah maybe its a micro-process that's sentient. How can a micro-process be sentient without the other components that make it a functional system. The more likely scenario is this guy got duped by a very advanced chat bot that it literally designed for natural conversations with humans.
