It isn't just the art. It is kinda everything; AI has been taking jobs from many talented people. I have met folks who once held secure, high-paying jobs who are now resorting to minimum-wage labor. In this capitalist society, the only way to earn secure money is to remain relevant, but AI is threatening to make EVERYONE irrelevant (yes, even you!).
We are not fighting just for the keeping of human soul (which is the biggest part of art; remove the soul and you have a fake artificial attempt at recreating something), we are fighting also for our worth.
