Agree. I've listened to Eliezer speak several times and so far I keep walking away with the impression that he prefers to stick with vague generalities. He seems to get uncomfortable when pressed to elaborate more on his theories. I understand that AI fearmongering by an "expert" grabs attention but he should be "naturally selected" out of prominence in the AI circles if he can't deliver on sound arguments imo.
