@roxsy470  @roxsy470  How is taking art without asking or paying the artist, using it to train AI programs and then making money off of the stolen work not an issue?! The difference between humans making art that is inspired by other artworks is the human element interpreting the work, while the AI just steals the artwork 1 to 1 to use it. Taking note on other people's work is different from plainly stealing it. Plus, you're not entitled to an ability, you have to work to gain an ability. I just don't get why people don't see that stealing other people's art that they've put so much time and work into is just wrong. Have you even watched the video? I'm not saying that AI art should be banned. But why can't they do it the way music AI does it and use copyright free work, or at least pay the artists? Because I guarantee you that if music AI would be stealing music the way art AI is stealing visual art, it would've been shut down and made illegal long ago. Also, nowhere did I say that AI art isn't art. Don't go around assuming things either. I never told anyone that their AI art is awful or something. The most I did was explain to them what these art AIs do and then people got all rude in response. Like why do you think it's okay for people to be rude towards those who defend the people whose art is being stolen, but it's an issue when people get negative feedback on "their" AI art? It isn't really theirs in the first place. So defending current AI art programs and telling artists who are worried about their future in art while offending them for worrying kinda sounds more rude to me. As I said, AI art is a form of art, but how exactly are AI artists artists? All they do is type a line of words. And getting defensive over people copying a prompt that is used to create an image based on stolen art is just hypocritical. Going around on insta and whatnot, it seems to me that many people just use AI art to deceive people into thinking they actually made that. At least label it as AI art. People are losing commissions to AI already, so I hate to think about what it's going to do to artists in the future. Please understand that in no way I am attacking you personally.
