As someone who used AI image generator before I found out it uses dozens of artworks, here is my experience:
No matter how pretty the picture was, it didn't felt fun at all. It didn't felt like I did anything. It was the AI that did all the work. Not to mention AI images are soulless too and uses dozens of artwork without the consent of artists. (Don't even think about using the debunked "AI learns like humans do" strawman because Humans are not machines. We are not the same)
Maybe AI is here to stay for now, but without regulations, it's only a matter of time until the snake slowly begins to eat itself.
