@HALLish-jl5mo, at best it's a test for both the machine and the human. For example, if you wanted to test the strength of a metal bar which could be bent by a reasonably robust adult, what does that say about the bar if you asked a child to bend it who couldn't? In this case, you are clearly testing the strength of the human, not the bar.
This relates to a problem with testing and various other metrics whereby the methodology of testing is changed to adjust the results. You want to get a higher rating on how great an AI is? Get people to test it who are quite ignorant to the technology (what Sabine alludes to here).
