Anyone who listened to scientists or engineers familiar with the area knew that teslas self driving would never work well enough to function as musk advertised. It can be done but it requires more hardware and compute than a tesla can have and remain price competitive. Self driving cars need to be part of a city system with few to no other vehicles on the roads for them to have any real advantage over human driven vehicles. FSD is just a virtual approximation of a poorly functioning human.
