@onesplacid This AI art controversy has made me hate artists with how arrogant they are. They think they are oh so special with their creativity that come from their "soul". When in reality they are no different to AIs, just neural networks recognizing and predicting patterns. Getting inspired is no different to an AI learning from training data. Artists aren't special, they are jobs that will become obsolete just like the countless amounts of jobs that came before it. Why should we protect artists specifically but ignore everyone else? Where are the protests when factory workers were getting replaced by robotics? Is the person that invented refrigerators evil for making ice collectors obsolete? Stop being blinded by your hubris.
