@cosmicsvids Absolutely but this is called delfation. It's what i've been describing. Deflation means prices go down, or become worthless. If AI artists replaced all artists then they'd need to sell 100 times more than them to make a living. But, with time spent on research for clients, being shadowed by the satuartion of AI art on the internet and more people who want to sell or use it at home cuz "its easy" well you will never become an AI artist cuz you'd gain so so little... So yeah, AI art kills the art market and its own "market" too. Same with prompt engineer. Aside from the fact that LLMs always change so its impossible to developp a skill without it becoming worthless in 1 month, lower cost of production + low skilled required + saturation of internet means they will gain almost nothing too. So if you cant earn money from those jobs, you'll spend less time on a pc, then you'll buy less, then AI market hardware will drop because of the deflation it created. Same critic will go to Bitcoin. When it'll reach 21 million limit, you won't be able to create new market with it without causing deflation, so companies and users who use bitcoin will lose everything. And printing 100 times more dollar bills just for for AI art ain't gonna happen. So, even without laws and regulation, i think the only future for AI art is either to disappear or just become a game at home. In both cases the demands will drop for those things.
