Elon Musk, during xAI's Grok 4 July livestream even said, "Even if it wasn’t gonna be good, I’d at least like to be alive to see it happen.” when referring to the Singularity (the point when, depending on who you ask, AI outperforms humans intelligence and begins to improve itself OR when AI becomes "conscious").
