Well, if we take photography as an example, it did eventually evolve into its own separate medium with an actual technical knowledge to be had to master.
That's not the vibe I am personally getting with AI. AI as a technology seems to have the express purpose of being easy and replacing people in the job market as a tool of capitalism through the process of deskilling of labor. If AI somehow requires a certain amount of technical knowledge to master properly, then companies will be disatisfied with that and will further invest to deliberstely lower the skill curve even further. That's a whole different kind of context that this technology is inserted into, if you ask me.
