Idk what you mean by "before," but we've had AI for a while- it's what recommends YouTube videos on your home page, flags alerts if you credit card was used by a scammer, shows the top results on Google, depending on your package manages your 401k etc.... I think what we can all agree we hate is the overhyped tech bro generative AI. There's no way to uninvent AI because it's just algorithms, so I think we should focus on voting for more worker friendly policies and tax the rich because no one needs as much wealth or power as these evil billionaires. They can't even code well, they just pay people to do it for them.
