Can humanity survive in low gravity? Is there a proper way to employ cryogenics for humans to survive a trip to another star?
If none of the above, then humans need to evolve, which will most likely be through biotech/tech or other type of enhancements. It's either that or we just die when our star makes our system uninhabitable.
What is a human? What is humanity? Is it really a good thing? After all we are powered through greed and ambition, which leads envy, sadness, depression, psychopatic behavior, etc. Humans aren't holy, humanity isn't the peak of evolution or life, we are deeply flawed and i don't see it changing anytime soon. I'm not vowing to end our species, i'm saying the entire discussion is tainted. We need to think about it all from scratch before trying to come up with a moral stand about how it will afect us.
We are not ready for AI, but we also will never be ready for it, we just have to either abandon the idea and focus on improving humans without all these ethics of the sacred human body, or we could just embrace AI and deal with it while we develop and improve it. Otherwise it's just living life, waiting for the unstoppable fate that awaits the solar system, our home.
