No no.... it gets better. Prompt Engineers are the prime replacement target for LLMs. I don't know if thats dawned on any of them yet. So all those "skills" at prompting can be done better by AI. If I'm not mistaken, you can do that in some chat bots that also have image gen calling, when a company has both. So you just explain what you want tweaked, and the chat bot tweaks the prompt for the image gen. Another argument worth bringing up is that people who use AI as a creative tool, are essentially just "Commissioning a work" like in the old days. Most of the big name Classical composers only got to make a living off of it due to commission work. Same with a lot internet artists. So if someone else draws a picture of your OC, does that give you credit for their artwork because "its your vision of that OC" that makes it look the way it does. No! I don't know how else to explain this other than the level of narcissism on display to claim credit for the labor of someone or something else. Even if you created the tool, the tool is still doing the work. This inability to separate what is and isn't one's creative input to the result, or the overvaluing of ones own input disproportionately to others (this the most common one) in order to claim more credit..... its aggravating. It's like that star athlete that becomes so full of themselves, they start to believe they ARE the team's success. And the AI bros display similar deflections on perceived failures.
