@HardeepSingh-kw3wu You are right that production software needs human review, testing, and security. But saying AI is “nowhere near” useful for production is not supported by the data. Controlled studies already show large productivity gains, real-world field experiments show more completed PRs, and modern coding benchmarks show strong performance on real software tasks. The accurate position is not “AI can replace engineers end-to-end,” but “AI can already do a substantial share of software work, while humans still need to handle architecture, validation, security, and final accountability.”
