it doesn't take a genius to spot AI art, it always lacks soul. Plus it is trained of ACTUAL working hard artist's work, which is a whole legal battle down the road. Is the generation itself harmful? No, obviously not, What is harmful is people claiming to be "artists" when all they are doing is typing a prompt into a software. It is a stain on the art community, and as it improves, it might make it harder for genuine artists to even gain recognition in the workplace. What's even worse, the poster of this is attempting to sell AI art, which is particularly dumbfounding considering basically anyone is capable of creating, just maybe with a subscription. TLDR; The existence of ai image generation isn't a sin in itself, but ai "artists" trying to claim themselves as hard working, paints a bad light on people's passions, and in some cases, jobs.
