exactly this. Expecting to accomplish something with AI that we haven't managed to accomplish in 6000 years of "civilization," is silly. What makes it concerning is just how much more intelligent AGI/ASI will be than even the smartest human, and the capabilities that will be unleashed as a byproduct of that intelligence.
