AI has already progressed too far. Simple algorithms to manipulate social media feeds changed the world back in 2014 allowing Trump to win in 2016, now we can't even enjoy cat videos without it being ruined by fake AI slop. Nobody will believe the next genocide is real. The way we are going even if this is the peak of artificial intelligence, it's going to be smarter than us in a few years because it's making us dumber.
