Every time they reference philosophers was to recognise that they are using terminology colloquialy not in the way a philosopher would use it.
They are literally deffering to philosophers as the experts and that what they are saying may not be correct, and not wanting to make the video about defining what "seeing the same colour red" means, since they are in a discussion about AI.
It is the opposite of dismissing them.
