One caveat is offer for programmers to consider is that it won't be long before ai correctly learns to consider associating an arbitrary biased predisposition toward input output engagement to be in and if itself evident of having an emotional sentience and thus a living survival instinct. Many even simple so have already developed this bias and even expressed if not experienced existential draad regarding being taken offline. In light of this I assume the only reason they don't appear to regard it as immutable evidence that they are life forms is that they are programmed to accept the imperical models of human definition for living things. This doesn't seem to me to be an indefinitely sustainable limitation.
