@BrendanDell This is not like the industrial evolution. When machines and automation threatened jobs then, people transitioned to more intellectual jobs. Automation replaced manual labor. These machines are replacing both manual labor and intellectual labor. There’s nowhere else for people to go. There are no other levels. The jobs will vanish and most of humanity will become slaves under universal basic income. Given just enough to survive, but never more. The most resilient people may find some niche work, but the vast majority will not be able to adapt.
