@MRS_Plays Yes they did. Many newspapers in 1915 printed articles about how superior the horse is and that cars are just a fad.
The difference is that NFTs weren't a revolutionary technology like the car, the internet, and Generative AI, and had no use by anyone not in the crypto scene, compared to the millions that are using AI. All groundbreaking technology like this suck at first, but they become a part of life in a few decades, and the haters just get with the times. And GenAI is still a 3 year old infant, compared to cars and the internet.
