Only this time.. If AI can take our jobs, it'll EASILY take the cognitive and financial jobs of the Elites! What merit justification will they have left for their class to rule above the rest of us? They've broken the Social Contract, so we must demand a new one. Otherwise we'll end up with a new royal family class ruling forever, with it's own form of socialism all to itself. AI is a creation of society, requiring societal quantities of data to train it. It needs to be collectively owned, so it benefits everyone.
