For exploration I guess? It could work? But as reference? Do NOT use AI art as reference. It's bound to make critical mistakes because it doesn't understand the structure of anything it's making, as pikat said it's just doing what's more statistically likely to be done, which includes thousands upon thousands of mistakes. Use real world images instead for anatomy, or 3d models for shading, and try to understand how they work. If you study or ACTUALLY use AI art as reference, you'll end up with a flawed understanding of how things work that will hinder your creativity and ability as an artist.
