@yusiuc5533 but for it to rival veterans of the industry it would have to be trained on their work, which it was without their consent. AI works by replicating existing images, many of which are copyrighted/owned/created by someone. Currently AI images aren't copyrightable (you can't own them) so they can't compete in that matter. Considering this, it can't make anything new and it's replicating living artists works without compensation or consent. If AI imagery remains non copyrightable it won't compete which is great as it's not contributing to art in any way.
