Thanks, some actual valuable analysis in YT comments, so rare. Agree with your angle for potential solution, I think "decentralize" will mean modernized Anti-Trust laws that maybe Trump will feel compelled to push if the middle class that elected him continues to be laid off by the tens of thousands. But the AI robber barons have two arguments that probably have blocked any attempt to break the unhealthy concentration of power, compute and capital : 1) if you move boldly against AI ecosystem monopolies (and their indirect preemption of the other industries), the stock market will collapse at least for one or two years, and the people will blame Trump for that 2) prisoners dilemma, if we cut our own legs in AI, the Chinese will keep running
