Naw. AI would still be making reboots. It’s what people pay money to see. That’s what studios still want to make. This just means quicker turn around on scripts.
But, what I hear in this still leaves a gap. AI can edit a script. AI can write the screenplay that gets turned into a script by a human before AI edits that script.
And there will be issues with “human” actors, too. Animation. Animatronics. Puppets. Robots. These play roles in movies. It won’t be long before humans are the underpinning and AI is just fixing everything on top (like with modern special effect movies).
