Short term optimism and thinking. Yes, Ai will create some new jobs in the near future. Once Ai is able to process information and learn autonomously, many of those jobs will be obsolete too. If Ai can do everything a human can do without sleeping, eating, or the need for compensation, why does it need humans?
Even the godfather of Ai is uncertain and apprehensive of what Ai will do to the human race.
